Hey all, I just picked up some z32 brake parts for a conversion (as I think one of my stock calipers is starting to seize) Anyway, upon taking the calipers apart to get 'em powder coated, I popped out the pistons using compressed air as you should and was welcomed with an unsettling surprise...

There's a nasty gash inside one of the piston chambers... This is VERY bad... right?

That's the front half of a left caliper, if in case you're wondering. I just wanted a second opinion on if I should get it replaced. Thanks guys for any input!

Definitely replace it. It'll leak slowly and is going to be a headache later.

That's what I thought.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I wanna do this swap right the FIRST time...

...and not hemorrhage money in the process lol
