I am considering the z32 calipers for my front brakes. How ever My new tires I am putting on are the nascar style so my clearance issue is the worst the closer I am to the studs. I put them on and I have about 3-4 mm clearance over my stock 240 caliper.

The part of the caliper that sticks out the most, in the direction the suds go is my issue.

Does anyone know how much bigger the z32 26mm calipers are and what are the clearance issues with them.

I have heard they will not work with certain rims but all i hear is that you have to amke sure they cleatr the spokes.

Any help would be great? My brakes are going bad and I do not want to replace the front yet if I am going to do the conversion.

THanks

The 26 MM calipers are much bigger than the stock S13 brakes but clear *SOME* stock S13 and S14 wheels

Do you know how much more the z32's stick out past the rotor width wise.?the rotors are a bit wider themselves but that is not the issue.

I am picking up some from autozone tommorrow so I can test fit them. How ever I do not have the rotors yet.

I have some heavy wheels for now. Heavy as in 40 lbs 17x11 in the rear and 17x9.5 in the front. Big mistake now I have them and have to figure out how to stop them. Soon I am putting in a vh45de motor so I should have the power to turn the back but I need to stop the front.

So any help will be great.

I have heard bad stuff about drilled and slotted rotors so I will probably get some regular brembo rotors (300zx f and 240sx r) with some hawk hps+ in the front and and hps in back with the braided lines. Any tips or advice?

HA!

Thats what I am doing now. I should have the Calipers by noon today and then I just need the pads. If your wheels are that heave, you may not need anything more then the 300ZX calipers

I can give you dimentionsof 300ZX 26mm Calipers on the Brembo OEM replacement rotors tomorrow.
