Hey all, I just picked up some z32 brake parts for a conversion (as I think one of my stock calipers is starting to seize) Anyway, upon taking the calipers apart to get 'em powder coated, I popped out the pistons using compressed air as you should and was welcomed with an unsettling surprise...There's a nasty gash inside one of the piston chambers... This is VERY bad... right?

That's the front half of a left caliper, if in case you're wondering. I just wanted a second opinion on if I should get it replaced. Thanks guys for any input!

That's what I thought.

My first impression was "Did they use a chisel to try and pry the piston out or what??"

I'll get it replaced.
