Okay, I've used the search tool for both recent and archived content containg the z32 brake upgrade for a 240sx. I really don't want to be a pest, but my searches haven't answered my question, and I wouldn't be asking for help unless I absolutely needed it. The pictures on 240sx.org for the z32 walk-thru aren't cutting it for me.

So my question is this: What parts will I need, specifically, to convert the brakes on my 89 Nissan 240sx w/o ABS , w/ 16" wheels, to the four-piston calipers found on a z32 ? Would someone be willing to toss me a part list, and perhaps a little bit of advice if you've done it? If possible, I'd like to keep my 4-lug hubs.

Thanks a bunch. Got a batch of ganja gooballs for the first person who can help me out =)

Or just buy the 300zx drilled and slotted rotors from heavythrottle. Tell them you need the ones drilled for 4-lug. Take your current calipers offtake off the brake linestake off the rotorconnect the conversion brake lines (SPLPARTS.com has the cheapest to my knowledge) to the chassisput the 300zx rotor onbolt on the 300zx caliperbolt on the conversion line to the caliperdo this to the other sidefill the brake master cylinder with brake fluidbleed the brakesput on rimsgo nuts slamming on the brakes and getting lunged forward alot harder than before

i think brake pads might be a good idea too.

stuff he left out, after "bolt on the conversion line to the caliper"

slide in brake padsrun pin through caliper and both padsput spring clip on pin and caliperclip anti-rattle clip on pads

I ghettoed it with stacked crush washers but I would never reccomend such a thing to someone else. I'll do some a-team **** when it's just my *** on the line.

you'll have to make sure the caliper will clear your rims. i have 17 x 7 w/ 40mm offsets rims, and i got the 30mm 300ZX calipers. I had to use a dremel to clearance the caliper (basically sheared off the "Nissan" lettering.
