I ordered my z32 brake conversion from a local parts store and i ran into a problem with the brake hose. I got the rubber hose that attaches to the brake line at the wheelwell and goes down to the strut. after that there is a piece of hard line that connects the hose and caliper togethr. My question is; where do i get those hard brake lines? you can see in the following photos:

calipers that i got

Brake hose that i got

Please let me know where i can get those hard lines fast.thank you

I ran into this exact same issue while doing the conversion on my car. I used the 30mm z32 aluminum calipers with ss z32 hoses. You have the 30mm iron calipers, if that pic is of your exact caliper. I just brought one of my calipers and ss hoses to the parts dept at the dealership I work for, and they gave me two 3 inch straight hardlines. I cut off about 3/4 of an inch off of those hardlines, and re-flared them. I then wrapped them in mechanics wire so I could bend them without collapsing. I put two 90 degree bends in them, and they work perfectly. You simply thread the hardline fitting into brake hose, and then the other fitting into the caliper.I assume that you got those pics from http://importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm

If you'd like to see a pic of my finished product, email me through my sig.

BTW- It looks like that girl in your pic is either breaking into, or molesting your car. Or is that you?

Wow if i were you, i would take some reading classes.

KOUKI MONSTER - thanks for the advice, i realized that it will be a lot of hassle to make OE parts work, so i jst ordered some stainless steel lines.

damn people you all need some reading classes, as you can see i am refering to the brakes line in those pictures. As you can see KOUKI MONSTER read the thread and even knows where i tagged the photos from.

THOSE ARE NOT MY STRUTS
