Here is a copy and paste on the parts you will need along with part numbers...
You will need the following to do the brake upgrade...
- 300ZX TT Calipers
- Brake Harware Kit
- Spring Return (the + looking thing)
- Pin
- Clip
- Stainless steel braided front brake lines designed for the 240SX -> 300ZX conversion
- 300ZX Brake Rotors
- Brake Pads
Below you will find all the part numbers for these items.
NOTE: The part numbers for the parts I used may differ from the ones you will need. Everything is dependant upon the date of manufacture of the Z32 your calipers came from. For this reason, I am listing all the part numbers for every manufacture date for each part.

Stainless steel braided front brake lines designed for the 240SX -> 300ZX conversionThese can be obtained from a few different places. Here are the ones I know of offhand:
Heavy Throttle / SRSwap.comStranopartsPDM Racing
300ZX Brake RotorsYou have a few different options when it comes to the rotors. You can go with just OEM rotors (which I did, since I found a used set rather cheap), OEM replacements, cross drilled, slotted, both x-drilled AND slotted. It’s all personal preference here. You just have to make sure you get the correct rotor for your caliper though. See below for an explanation of the sizes for the rotors. I would suggest going with either a Brembo OEM replacement, if you are wanting to keep costs down, or Brembo X-drilled/Slotted. You can find Brembo rotors for very good prices at:
Rotor sizing:
The 280mm x 26 mm rotor was ONLY used on the N/A calipers manufactured 2/89 – 7/90The 280mm x 30mm rotor is used on all other applications. Here is a very good resource on caliper and rotor info: Asad’s 300ZX Comparison
Heavy Throttle / SRSwap.com (They carry the cross drilled AND slotted rotors)Stranoparts (Good prices on OEM replacements, but also carry others as well)
Brake PadsThis is really a personal preference. I went with Porterfield R4S pads, and I have no complaints. They are unbelievably better than metal master pads, and are well worth the extra money. Also, choose your pads and rotors according to what you are going to be doing with the car. Don’t get race pads if the car is your everyday driver, and vice versa. I got my Porterfield pads through Stranoparts.
Here is a good link with step by step about how install the pads...
