Hey Guys, I Have a 97 S14 w/5 lug hubs. What exactly do I need to swap my brakes for 26mm or 30mm front z32 brakes? What do I need for the rear aswell? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. THX

don't forget to buy some good fluid as well. the upgrade won't be worth it if you get cheap fluid and it boils. a set of speed bleeders would ease the brake bleeding process too.

I Don't anykind of adapter to connect the z32 front calipers to my steering knuckle? All I need that's not oem are the brake hoses? Do the calipers really just bolt right on the front and rear? I assume that the z32 master cyl will just give me a firmer brake feel? I know they wont clear my stock rims in the front, and that the added spinning mass of the rotors will rob a bit of power. Does anyone know how noticeable the power loss is?

Thanks to all who left info, your help is appreciated!

check out http://www.frsport.com. call them and talk to young at 714 265-7988. they can pretty much supply everything you need. you might as well get the master cylinder because their price is cheap.

then link and help Jordan S14. I know the mc is cheaper compared to other online stores. one site sells it for $280 and another site sells it for already discounted price of $207.

I got my MC off eBay. I paid w/ shipping around $160 for it. You can feel the upgrade immeaditly, but with the new MC you get a lot better feel on the pedal. The seller was "completemotorsport", I believe you can look this seller up and then you should find the MC's in his eBay store. Like they also said above, your going to want to upgrade that brake fluid 2. Motul DOT 4 is great and you can get that stuff from Summit Racing or PerformanceNissanParts.com.

Thanks for all your input guys. That link that 98240 left was EXACTLY what I needed, thanks alot. I was planning on doing the rear aswell, but I've already ground down my squealers and I know I won't have time to do all of that work. Thanks again to all that offered info, your help is greatly appreciated!

If you have an SE you wont have a problem with the calipers hitting the stock rollers. If you want the option of your e-brake still working you need to remove the rear hub, and knuckle to remove the stock 240sx backing plate. You'll also need to obtain an e-brake assembly from a 300zx and the cables as well. The R33 skyline e-brake cables are suppose to be a direct replacement for the 300zx and 240sx combo. The calipers front and rear are a bolt on, no adapter needed. However you will need to get brake lines that fit this combination as stated above. You'll also need to use the 300zx sized rotors. I'll be doing this entire swap within the next few weeks to months, I'm just getting everything collected before I start the process.
