I'm having a bit of a problem with my front Z32 rotors rubbing on the Z32 calipers. I have tried to add a washer in between the calipers and the upwright so the caliper doesn't scratch my rotor. Do I need a special washer or do I have to use the Z32 bolts and washers. Has anyone else had this problem?

How is that even possible? The only thing I can think of is that you have 26mm calipers and 30mm rotors. We need more info if we are going to help you. Pictures would be a huge help.

I believe I have 30mm caliper and 30mm rotors. This is the second set of Z32 rotors and calipers I've had. The problem isn't the diameter it's that once I bolt on the caliper it presses against the rotor not allowing the rotor to spin freely. The rotor rubs against the caliper. The fron of the caliper rubs the rotor and the back of the rotor is clearly away from the caliper. I have tried to sandwish a washer beteen the caliper mounts and the upright to bring the caliper out (forward) more and this has worked before but the washer had to be an exact thickness or I have the same problem. I have asked a several friends that have the Z32 conversion on there S13 and they have said it bolts up but I didn't know if there was a differenct in an S14 or if my car being an automatic made any difference.

Is this with or with out the wheel on and torqued down?

Well I found my problem to be that I had 26mm calipers with 30mm rotors that's why I was having the mounting problem. I had a set of Iron 30 mm calipers in my shed and they bolted right up without any problems. Thanks for your help!!
