you mean using z32 rear calipers as well as retaining ebrake right?

pros: you still have an ebrake.

cons (as opposed to not having an ebrake at all): no ebrakecons (as opposed to retaining oem s13 rear ebrake/ caliper): wack brake bias

s13 rear calipers also work as e-brake. If you install z32 rear calipers, that feature will be gone and yes, you need z32 e-brake. Just go all the way. No need to hold back.

I'm the other way around. Search for a member positonones posts. He has some good write ups on brake and suspension stuff.
