I have the Z32 brake upgrade on all four corners of my car, the 26mm alu. units. They are great but with the stock caliper placement my wheels have very little clearance up front and I require a spacer. If I were able to move the caliper out about 1" I could gain most of the space required back and negate the spacers completely as the inside line of the wheel spokes offset outward as they extend to the lip.
I've seen a few kits available that allow for Z33, VR-4 or even Cobra Mustang rotors to be used, all of which sound fantastic but they all seem to offset the caliper more outward as well which would require an even LARGER spacer and move me further from my goal. My question is, are there any rotor upgrade brackets available that use a deeper rotor hat and thus recess the caliper further and provide more clearance? At the very least, a kit the maintains the offset of the stock Z32 calipers would be fine if it increased the outside diameter by at least an inch.
Best pics I have at the moment for reference:
Thanks guys,-Kris
