Okay so today I upgraded my bmc for my z32 brakes and when I removed the allen bolt it looked exactly the same as my stock one. Im confused because everyone says you need that adapter. by the way its off a 91 z32 and its a 1-5/16 bmc. works great

the proportining valves inside the master cylinder hyd section are different, itll allow more fluid to travel to the 4 piston calipers in the front, if you dont swap it youll be able to lock your rear brakes up quickly and unwantingly

I dont think I was clear in my post....what i meant was the middle hole, the one that is blocked off. when removed I thought you needed an adapter out of the stock bmc. When I removed the plug it was identical to my stock bmc. And for the record never did I once lock up my rear tires using the stock bmc, and there was quite a bit of panic braking...socal...
