z32 bmc question. 17/16 or 1"?

Hi everyone,

I tried searching but couldn't find any decent answers...

What I have: a 200sx s13 with and ABS brake booster.

What I want to do: complete z32 brake upgrade (30mm front rotors)

I bumped into the BMC issue - for a long time a was thinking of using a 1" BMC, but recently found a much cheaper 17/16 bmc. Some reviews say it's worse than the 1" some say it's good.

My question: will the 17/16 BMC (nabco) be the optimal solution or should I get a 1"?

i have 26mm on the front and the full setup on the rear. i'm using a 17/16" bmc. works just fine.

edit - i should add that i'm still using the stock s14 abs booster.

Just 30mm Alum on front for me with 17/16 and its fine.

Im running 30mm skyline GTR calipers, and 5 speed non-abs booster, and stock master cylinder. A little soft in the pedal, but works much better than stock. So I ASSUME, running either will be good to go.

just what I wanted to hear so it sums up for me that the 17/16 is good enough.

I'll go with my stock ABS/auto booster and see how it goes, if not good - then I'll replace it with a z32 booster which is a little bigger (or an s15 if I can get my hands on it )

btw, I found out today that I already have a factory drum e-brake setup like on the z32 (euro s13's came with it)
