z32 blend door issues- help!

so, i bought a 1990 300zx a few months ago. i've fixed a few problems and have discovered a few more, lolz great!
the blower motor works fine and the various speeds work as well. it will only blow air out of the center vent regardless of postion. (i found this out yesterday driving in the rainy weather with fogged up windshield.)
i purchased and installed one of these already:

i had nly replaced that due to broken sliders/knob. it didnt work before this and doesnt work after. i took it off today and put it back in making sure it was clipped in all the way. no dice.
i checked any fuses i thought might be related to the issue as well. no blown fuses and anythig wiring related on this car seems to be in great shape actually.
i've searched online which brought me back here and there is one thread mentioning this and no resolution.
i was hoping someone here has had the same issue and fixed it.
i cannot find the part online either (blend door motor/actuator)
does the dash have to come out?

What year is your car, and you're positive it came with manual climate control from the factory?

As far as the blend door, not sure if the dash has to come out or not. You might be able to get to it from the legwells. Not sure though. Maybe someone a little more knowledgeable about the CC system can just in here.

yeah are you sure it came with a manual one. i kinda got the same thing since my 90 is a manual and i took a climate control digital one from my 91 and installed it. i mean if urs came digital from factory ill be more then happy to trade my digital one for your manual one

You can't just swap the control interface units, though. You'd have to swap everything in the CC system, in the dash, everything. :/

i need that then.
the car was never climate control and im not trying to swap it over to that.
anyone have a good working motor for me?

anyone ever just manually switch where the air comes out and leave it at that?
i emailed z1 about buying the motor and i have to email him pics so he can see which one i need (i guess theres a bunch??) and it costs $100

The Mode Door Motor in my '90 300zx NA went out a few years back. Just got the car running again. Took out the motor and then ducktaped the arm to keep it in position so it always blows at the window. I hate driving blind due to windshield fogging up!! lol
If anyone knows where to find another motor, please let me know where. I'd appreciate it.

Can someone tell me what the name of the part number or the name of the digital one of this A/c unit in the picture at the top of the thread? Where can I buy one that is either new or in good condition?

I have a 90300zx turbo with issues concerning the A/C control amp. I have no power to the climate control and have been looking for a replacement part. Mine is the manual control setup. Is there a fix? Need help!
