g'day guys and girls, im in the stage of planning a vh41de conversion in a r32. From what i have serached the rb25det box has the same internals than the z32 turbo box. The current setup in the car is a rb25det and box, so wanting to use the same box for the vh but it will be easier to mount the z32 bell housing so does anyone know if it will bolt straight up to the gear box center and input shaft and all that be sweet?? cheers in advance if you can help cam!

The internals of turbo and non turbo z32 gear box are the same, the only difference is the bell housing itself. The only gotcha with doing that is that there is a difference in the input shaft length. I forget the exact numbers of the difference, but it's something like 1/8 shorter on the overall length and 1/4" on the splined section. I wouldn't think that it would really make much of a difference unless you were planning on using a multi-disk clutch.

If you want to know exact length difference, I can measure the ones I have kicking around in the garage.
