I replaced my brake master cyl. on my S13 a few months back. I only buy new BMC's so I'm left with my old master. There's nothing wrong with it, with the exception of the leaky rear seal.

I have her completely disasembled and cleaned up. I was looking at pics of a 300ZX master and they look VERY similar to the S13. I was wondering if the difference between the two were internal, external (housing) or both?

Eventually I'd like to do the Z32 brake convertion. It'd be nice if I could just buy a rebuild kit for a Z32 and use the S13 BMC housing. Thanks in advance.

The Z32 is a slightly bigger beefier unit. Depending on piston size, and the mysterious 3rd line fitting that may or may not be flaired. Also, the proportioning is different as well. Thats all I can think of.

Well the 240 mc I have is flaired, Super Street recently came out with a 'how-to' on the Z32 upgrade, just so happens this is when my mc went out. If I had more money at the time I woulda done it, but I'm broke

But if the Z32 is bigger, I'll just rebuild this and sell it or keep it for a spare.

I've seen it said that you can use a z32 on an s13. See if you can get a hold of one and compare to your old one.

Well from my understanding you should use the Z32 master when you do the Z32 swap. I heard you don't have to, but the pedal will feel screwy. But this is getting off topic, if anyone's looking for a rebuilt 240 master, lemme know
