Well most people think z32's don't make good drift cars, mainly because they're too heavy, or they don't have enough steering angle. Which is funny considering a 350z is 400-500 pounds heavier, and has even less steering angle. Z32's might no be as balanced as 240's but from what i've seen they do just fine. Drifting is more about the driver than anything else. Check out "Goldstar" 300zx drift car, that man leads the pack in a slicktop. I know he has some steering mods, but he out slides a track full of s13's, s14's, and turbo miata's, in a NA slicktop z32.

I have never seen anyone have any trouble drifting a Z. The Z32, both 2 seater and 2+2, are very close to 55/45 weight distribution. Which is exactly what the S14 240sx has for weight distribution. So they have the same portion of their weight over each axle, the 300zx is just a little heavier, but they also make quite a bit more power... So there really shouldn't be a whole lot of difference in the ability to rip the tires loose, or the way the car swings the back-end around.

As Zedx32 said, it is mostly up to the driver anyways. People drift everything from pickups to VW Beetles. It's all about what you are most comfortable driving.

I love mine. Ive just got GKtech steering rack spacers, made for an s13. Also a hydraulic handbrake, ACT 6 puck ceramic clutch, soon im gonna shim my LSD. Just search around, theres a write up on the steering angle mods on here. Check out my build if you want, its in the technical section, RB25 drift/daily I think.
