for everyone using the z31 stock exhaust elbow ...

I havent been able to find a flange for the eshaust elbow, and I was wondering what you did. I made a pretty crappy one, for a temporary setup, and was looking for something better when I take it into the exhaust shop.

thanksSteve

yea, just don't use it. The 02 sensors are different anyways. I just said screw it and bought the IAP downpipe, and they sold it to me for 180.00.... : )

The IAP downpipe bolted up to your Z31 turbine outlet?? I thought the Z31 T3 needed a unique 7 bolt flange?

ftrs13, do you have pic of this elbow you need a flange for?

its not that flange but the other end of the elbow, its a 3 bolt flange, like an exhaust collector, but I havent been able to find a size that fits.

ftrs13. Your using VG30 that was liquid cooled right? I found a DP from the older oil cooled only T3, and it has an ID of 2.5" that mates up to my exaust flange I got with my weld kit on ebay. If yours is different I would be happy to take a trip over to my local junk yard and look for one like mine. Couldent be more than a few bucks mabe $20? They gave me the last one free! Oh yea the oil cooled Z31 DP has the EXACT same O2 sensor fitting as the S14 that may also save you some trouble. All I had to do was take it out of my stock exaust and thread it into the Z31 downpipe :P

I have pics here somwhere if you wana see for yourself.

yeah, send me some pics.hmmm, I hadnt thought of buying a z31 dp.I actually have found that the car runs with the z31 o2 sensor with only the white sensor wire plugged in, but I am not too sure that it is running correctly.

does the s14 have a 3 wire o2 sensor??

ThanksSteve

The S14, non SE regular plain old non cali model used a 1 wire. I know for a fact this one fits since I got a new one a few weeks ago and threaded it into the z31 pipe, then pulled it back out and installed it into the stock S14 exaust.

O2 sensors are pretty much the same. The only difference between the three wire and the one wire is that the sensor starts working sooner with a heater.

Here are the picturs. Sorry my camera is so crappy. This DP did come with a three wire sensor in it that I will just throw out since I have no idea what the mileage is.

I know this one is bad but I think you can tell that the ID is 2.5" or you could just take my word for it.

dont worry about it, my car is running, and the sensor that it came with worked just fine.

I just need the flange that hooks the end of the elbow to the rest of the exhaust.
