heres the problem i have a 88z which i had planned to drop my vg30de in. well today i got a great deal on a 90z but come with out the transmission and driveshaft i was wondering if i would would beable to take the 5 speed trans from my 88 and drop it in my 90 or should i just find a z32 trans?

1 The box will bolt to the engine,but the starter faces forward.2 The gearlever is not in the right place3 drveshaft needs to be mod4 z31 flywheel and clutch dont bolt to the motor5 z32 speedo sensor is electronic and does not work in a z31's T5 assuming its a BW T5 you have in your z316 the clutch hydrolics are not the sameHaving said that it can be done,but I think its cheaper/easier to get a z32 box.A z32 box is also stronger by the way.
