I have a 1987 Z31 NA. My taillights won't work but all turn signals and brake lights do. I checked all the bulbs and fuses and all are in good shape. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

there is a ground under the rear padding stuff or inside one of the trim panels, can't remember which side but worth pulling out that stuff to check the connections might be a good start, I had a similar problem that turned iout to be a bad ground, I put on a new connector and sanded the mounting area and solved the problem

That would cause the brake lights to always be on.

Problem is most likely related to the tail light sensor. It's USUALLY attached to the passenger side tail light housing. Remove the back panel. Look for a pink, purple, white, or black box about the size of a 17 pack of gum. If it's hanging upside down and/or full of water, that's your problem.
