Anyone using a z31 T3 on their KA24DE. What did you do about the actuator valve being in the downpipe? I found an exhaust flange from turbonetics.com but it's for the Ford style T3 and has a different bolt pattern. I know I didn't describe the question in the best possible way, but anyone that has a z31 T3 will hopefully know what I'm taking out.

You can always run an external wastegate.

Yeah, i wanted to avoid having to spend the extra money. But oh well, it's probably the best route in the long run.

you could get a downpipe from a local junkyard for it, then just cut the flange off of it and use that. Then you wouldnt have to change anything in your setup, it would be a perfect fit!

you need the Z31 downpipe elbow, which you can take to a good welding shop and since its cast steel (lucky for us), they can hack off the elbow, use the flange and weld on the downpipe. i have pics if you need them...

Thank you, that helps me out so much. My email address is [email protected] if you want to email them. Though I think a lot of people would benefit from you posting them, since it seems like a lot of people want to be running the z31 T3.
