if you keep it N/A? Intake, exhaust, timing gears, remapped ECU you'll get about 160whp, if you put the turbo v6 in you start out at about 160whp and with intake exhaust, ECU, injecotrs and FMIC you can get nearly 300whp and if you want to put in a bigger turbo and injectors you can get to nearly 500whp at which point you'll be pushing the limits of the stock internals

stock internals have been pushed to over 700rwhp with nitrous, forced induction, custom intake, and mildly ported heads.

aftermarket? there is none. everything you do is custom or modified to make work.

If you're looking for a car with a ton of bolt on parts, go Honda, 240sx, or a newer car.

If you're looking for a seriously underrated car with tons of potential, the Z31 is great.

Z31 all in all is a pretty solid car with decent potential

There are some aftermarket parts for suspension but they are drying up pretty fast. i bought my 84' brand new in 84' and have upgraded springs, shocks, sway bars, bushings and cat back. I haven't bothered to do much else, it is not a super fast car, but it is fast enough it handles quite well after these suspension parts are added along with some nice YR rated tires. Overall, these are solid cars and since most of them left on the road are piles of crap, people will do a double-take on nice ones. I get people asking me all the time, "what years is this, 96 or something" and I laugh. It is some work to get them back to factory specs and than some but worth it compared to what something newer cost.
