Z31: No Sparkage...

My brother's z31 wouldnt start so he replaced the spark plugs AND the coil pack. Still no charge... What the hell could be wrong? I am thinking it may be a connection to his alternator or something.

What makes you think the alternator? I seriously doubt that. If the alt went out, the car would still run on the battery.

Most likely it's the crank angle sensor in the distributor, or the ECU is fried.

I'm also making the assumption the cap, rotor, and wires were checked/replaced. Right?

Yeah so how do you go about fixing the crank angle sensor?

the crank angle sensor is under the ignition rotor (remove cap/rotor/dust cover) i believe you will need to remove the slotted wheel from the shaft and the optical sensor itself, you may need a torx set

ignitor? ECU? and the CAS I believe comes only on form of a new distributor?
