I have a 1985 300zx 2+2 NA 5 speed. I recently replaced my headlight switch and now my horn and cruise control doesn't work. I have searched high and low and it seems I am the only person in history to have this problem. Please help

The fact that the issue started after replacing the combo switch would suggest something god disconnected or popped a fuse in the process. The horn should be the easiest to troubleshoot.

Apparently changing the fuel level sending unit and the spark plugs is easier for me than the horn. Additionally, I cannot get the steering wheel straight anymore since putting in the new headlight switch. I have searched high and low and without success. I am beginning to hate the car and I am tempted to sell it

No. I gave up trying and it is too hot in Las Vegas in the summer to fool around with it. I might revisit it in the fall when it is cooler and that is when I drive the Z. I am used to bmw forums that are more active and the responses are full diagrams and pictures

Sorry, a horn problem isn't very common and the horn wiring diagram is pretty much a straight line,
battery-fuse-horn relay-horn
ground-horn switch-horn relay

getting the steering wheel centered after removing is a bit difficult. what i do is drive in a straight line and let it center itself and then pop the wheel off and align it up. then repeat. took about 3 times to get it just right.
