Can someone measure the distance from the inner strut mount bolts on the towers, the diameter of the middle hole in the tower, and the distance from bolt to bolt on the same tower?

Thx guys

strut bar to clear a different engine? I'd get a set of cheapo ebay specials, cut them up and form a new bar using their hardware, lots easier and cheaper than cutting your own plates

I have to second this question. Why are we supposed to measure this for you? You're going to have to have the car in front of you to make the mounting plates as well as how to properly bend the bar to fit under the hood.

Or you could just spend the $50 for a cheap one.http://www.courtesyparts.com/M...1-STB

Personally, I would get the CUSCO over the knock-off...http://www.thezstore.com/page/...-4204

you may as well go ahead and spill the beans, doesn't look like anyone is in a hurry to do your homework for you, share some details and maybe someone will think it's cool enough to want to help

ok well I want a tower bar for the s12 and an over the top one will not work. the s13 will not fit it cuz its too wide, and it wont clear the engine (CA). I've seen some cusco's and what not for the z31's that go around the vg, and I was wondering if the tower dimensions are close, considering they share many chassis and subframe parts.

so the s13 plates fit the towers but the bar won't clear? why not just rechape the bar? or replace the bar with one longer wider smaller reshaped etc to fit?

but the bolt pattern is correct? why not just open up the centers to fit?

The bars that go "around" the engine (either in front or behind) are absolute crap. Do NOT buy one of them. Cusco doesn't make them, and there's a reason for that.

They are formed in a triangle with the peak towards the middle of the car. The distance across the engine for the front two points (farthest distance) is 42.25". The hole required for the mount is 3.5" diameter. The distance from the front bolt to the inner and rear bolt is 4.375". The distance from the rear bolt to the inner bolt is 4".
