I found an 88 turbo z at the local wrecker and i was wondering if the front rotors and calipers would swap over to my 89 240sx. Yes i know they are not as cool as the 4 pot Z32 calipers seeing how they are only 2 pot but it will give me a bigger rotor. Has anyone ever done this??? Anything speacial needed to do it??? Any info is greatly appreaciated.

Yes. If you are really in a crunch just do the q45's. Nearly the same size rotor and 4 pistons. Cheap as hell too.

If the z31 option was better, don't you think there would be more info on it?

If the z32 setup didn't work well, wouldn't you think we'd threads saying that?

Well i hear what your saying codyace. I was just making sure that the 4 pots were not an absolute. What i mean is muffler A will give you 1 horsepower more than muffler B but muffler A costs 300 bucks more. Just looking for the best bang for the buck.

Best bang for buck?

Goto Carbotech (http://www.ctbrakes.com/)

Get some Bobcats or Panther Plus

Get some new rotors from Carquest or wherever...just normal cheapy rotors

Bed them in, and rock out :D

Honestly, not meant to be a smart *** at all, but that option will (IMO) work better than every upgrade this side of 300zx 4 pots, or aftermarket....

PS: Gank the rear brakes and sell them online, including brackets....someone will def scoop them up...
