I just recently purchased a 1985 z31 n/a 5spd. I love the car and my dad has owned three. It runs fine, but when quickly reved up, a belt squeals like a stuck pig. Belts are all new; just replaced about 100 miles ago. I'm not sure which it is, although when I apply belt dressing spray to all reachable pullies, it stops for about ten minutes. Any ideas?

could be a small coolant or oil leak getting on the belts causing the squeeks, also the PS belt I seem to recall being a royal pain to get tensioned, might one of the belts not be fully tensioned?

if the leak is at the pump it could be getting on the belts, also be sure to use dextron ATF only in your power steering! this is what nissan specifies, regular power steering fluid is too thin and leaks out!
