According to the Owner's Manual for my 84 300ZX AE the over-drive switch should light up briefly when starting up. This it does. But the Manual also mentions the light being on when over-drive is engaged. This it doesn't. Does anyone know where the fault lies? In the switch or is there a sensor somewhere?
Thanks
Alan
Oh dear! No replies. Perhaps I am asking the wrong question. Here we go. Does the green light on the overdrive switch on the console of the automatic transmission of the 1984 300ZX AE light up when overdrive is engaged?
Thanks.
Alan

because you were complaining about no response, you have an AE so I won't bother telling you to drop the dead weight and swap in a manual trans, most people with auto trannies that act up either swap in the 5 speed to take ti to an auto trans specialty shop
