Does a Z31 5lug conversion "How-To" exist on here? Couldn't find anything via search....

get a turbo donor, seriously, the only 4 lug cars were the 84-85 n/a's you get the 5 lug parts form an 84-85 turbo, out back you'll need the cv's companion flanges and stub axles in addition to the obvious rotor's and callipers and output shafts, up front the whole strut is a simple swap

You would probably find that 86s are in greater supply than 84-85 turbos. That said, I think it is pretty much remove old hub, install new hub. Nothing too complicated, it wouldn't be too much more difficult than replacing the rotors. But if you do find a turbo car donor, grab the springs for your car unless you have better aftermarkets springs already.

Does the 86' have to be a turbo, or just an 86 for the right 5 lug parts. also what about the rear brakes, the 86' has 4 wheel disk? I thought you couldn't use the rear disks of any z31. ??

all Z31's have 4 wheel disks, and all 86-89's came with 5 lug, bti they have ea slightly different offset so you might have to swap over the complete strut assy

All Z31 models from 86 up had 5 lug wheels. All Z31s had disc brakes front and rear.

As for not being able to use the rears, I assumed the question was about a 5 lug conversion on a 84-85 Z31. I honestly have no idea what it would take to throw the rear Z31 brakes on an S30 or S130.
