Z24i Rough Idle and Sometime Dies at a Stop Sign

Hi there. New to the forum. I bought a 1986 D21 4x4 Pickup, 5 speed, z24i motor about 6 months ago. I just had a rebuilt motor put in it. It has started to idle really low (250 rpms) when I push the clutch in while driving (like to stop). It has died a couple of times at stop lights. It starts right back up and the motor runs great when I'm moving. It is also having an issue with idling when it warms up. The idle goes up and down (800-1250 rpms). Any ideas? Thanks.
