I apologize in advance for reposting about similar threads already but I am having trouble finding exact answers to clarify the wiring harness issue in the Z24 to KA24 swap. I am currently in the process of swapping out my 1985 720 Pick Up Z24 engine for a KA24E engine out of a 90's Hardbody. So I know that the truck engine and interior harness is one piece, where as the 240 car engine harness is separate from interior where it connects to ECU. My concern if going with the 240 Harness and ECU is how will my interior harness portion connect from the 720 to 240 ECU seeing as how it is one piece with the engine, also i would more than likely need to find a 240 upper and lower intake manifold if i go that route. Then my other option i was considering is salvaging a complete harness and ECU from a junk Hardbody, however i am unsure of what is going to plug and play inside dash and on the engine etc between the harness and my truck. Also the rear wires from the taillights, turn signals etc. will wire up. I do not plan on using a stand alone ECU with this swap. I know people have completed this swap on here, so somebody has to have some suggestions/pointers, any help would be appreciated.
