hey guys, i switched the oil pan off an L-series on to a Z20 which came out of a 200sx and when i droped it in, i noticed the valve cover stuck up to far for the hood to shut. Does some one have the remedy for this problem? Thanks.

L-16 oil pan, pickup tube, and motor mounts.

ditto....use the L16 engine mounts on the opposite side to what they originally were on the L16.you have to do that because the Z-series engines sit on the opposite angle than the L-series.

ummm....maybe not...a L18 pan will fit on the motor....but probably won't fit in a 1600....unless the L18 was already in the 510

the pan was on the L-18 which was in the 510, and is going back into the 510 just on a different motor.
