Ok, I have both a 90 S13 and a 90 Z32. The I bought the Z32 with a bad motor, its N/A. I have heard of swapping parts from the VG and putting them on the KA. One that I can remember is installing the VG's MAF sensor on the KA motor. IF this is true, does it bolt up? What other parts can I use off of the VG and put on my KAE motor? I have no plans of swapping for a DE or a SR. I am happy with my lil KAE. If you don't know what your talking about then don't respond!

Well anything and everything that I can take from the VG and add it to the KA. I know I can use the suspension parts. I have heard something about putting the VG MAF sensor on the KAE motor. I just wonder what kind of problems that may cause? I have also wondered if I could use the Injectors from the VG motor, putting them on my KA. I was planning on putting a JDM engine back in my Z but I have alot of projects going on and I love 240'z.. I'm 6'3 and the Z's drivers seat is a little tight...lol

Are you trying to get horsepower gains from this? Or just experimenting?

Both, I have already checked the Throttle body. The VG's TB is smaller then the KAE's. I'm soon to swap the hub's and make my S13 5 lug. I figure I will swap the calipers also, since the Z has a pretty "Nissan" on them...lol

How many miles on the engine? Any rebuilds?

I bought the Z with a bad motor. The kid said it had a "hard hit" in the motor.. I got it to turn over a few times but no start...lmao

I got sick of tinkering with it and pulled the motor. After 3 days of sweat, blood and tears (damn VG's are hard to take out) We got the motor out and seen that it had 1 bent rod and 1 broken rod.. My heart sank. So now the engine is sitting in pieces and the cars sitting in my driveway. I would have rebuilt the engine but who knows what else is bad. So I'm just going to buy a JDM engine from Chicago. $900 drop-in.

My 240 has a stock KAE, fresh rebuild. less then 500miles. Runs like a Deere...lol 162,XXX

I'm just looking for more power. I am sure I can use some of the parts from the VG30DE on my KA24E motor... I just don't know what.
