Found it online in my search for a double din navigation package. Am interested as I really like the attractive design and the mature interface, yet can't find it in any of the local electronics stores.

This product is due to be released or has already hit the market. Please let me know if you spot it in the States, as will travel south soon.

It has been out since last summer. If you have family member in the State where you will be traveling, then I suggest keeping an eye out on Amazon for Cartoys and 6th Ave. They usually lower their price down to about $900 for maybe 10 hours a week. The reason I suggest those two retailers is because they're Pioneer's authorized retailer and you can get $200 MIR http://www.pioneerelectronics....ebate so you'll end up paying about $700 for the unit.

So are you going south of the border to visit family member or just for fun? If you're visiting someone, then (if Amazon accepts Canadian address credit card) look out for the price you want and purchase it yourself, and have it ship to wherever you're going to visit in the US. If not, ask whoever you know in the US to buy it and you'll repay it when you visit them.

It's $880 right now on Amazon with 6th Ave - $200 MIR = $680.

Cartoys has 2 physical stores in Seattle http://www.cartoys.com/cartoys...epref

Keep watching the price and e-mail them for price match, then go to the store to pay for it http://www.cartoys.com/product...ayer/ ?
