It looks like this is something new and definitely haven't seen before:

I ordered the set and I got to say the packaging is very nice and the machining quality is excellent. If people want I can post a review when I assemble them. The nice thing is you retain the factory strength and the spherical bearing can be replaced easily. The bearings are commonly available and can be purchased from summit racing.

Also I will be ordering front upper control arm bushings from:

I think this would be better than some cheapo eBay adjustable links. I can get them for $130 instead of paying $300 for new arms from IOS.

The Z32 Nismo bushings will work if you don't have active.

I have ES Z32 tension rod bushings on the car right now. The thing was my car had an active rod on the passenger side and the original base rod on the drivers side.

The reason I wanted these spherical bushings is because I was going to get upper links with bearings instead of bushings.

How does your car ride with the solid ones?

I replaced my 94 Q45 tension rods with solids from Z1 Motorsports over a year ago.
I have tokicos, nico strut brace, and 16" wheels with w-rated tires.

Lots more steering feel, for sure. Doesn't effect the ride, exactly, but makes everything in the car more rattly as every bump in the road gets transmitted. Still undecided if it was the right modification for me.

Update:

Finally installed these today, wasn't too bad mostly because I didn't have to remove the original bushings. Didn't need a press to install these either because I put the parts in the freezer. I just used a hammer and a big enough drift to pound them in.

I definitely feel more of the imperfections and bumps in the road like ericthered said. Also the steering does feel tighter even over the ES bushings. Next I will move onto the front upper control arms, just need to decide on adjustable or replacement bushings.
