Z wont start!!! WHY?!?!?!?

Hi ive been looking for a Z32 for a while now but still haven't found any! i saw this one but he said it wont start. what can be the reasons why it wont. thanks

guy said he drove it on E and it bogged out on him. He put 2 gallons on it to make it back to his place. Now it wont start! what could it be?

I'm guessing he put E85 in there. Does he have an ECU flashed for that?! Just a guess, but if it had old style fuel injectors that already crap out pretty easy with 10% Ethanol gas, he might have just killed all the injectors in one swoop.

But this is a guess, you aren't really giving us any useful information, and I'm guessing its going to be like pulling teeth to go between us and the seller. There's a ton of reasons why it won't start and we don't even know how its not starting right now...

Either lowball him and take it on as a project or walk away and find one that runs is probably the best solution.

There has to be more it than that. There is something he is not telling you. Unless you get a great deal on it for less than 1k, I would pass, because you will have a project on your hands. These cars will get expensive and addicting.

he gave me an old update. he said it starts and runs but an ignition fuse under the dash keeps blowing. Everytime it blows the car wont start. plus it has some body damge but with only 89K on the motor. he wants 3K. lowest he said was $2,500.

I say walk away. For that price you can get a decent and running Z.

I don't have the fuse diagram in front of me atm, but I'm thinking there are no ignition related fuses under the dash...so that sounds like another red flag. Everything ignition related should be either on the front of the driver side or near the battery on the passenger side.

I'm guessing this is a NA, but yea, I wouldn't pay 2.5k for an NA with unknown problems. Also it sounds like this guy has 0 clue what he's doing, which is even scarier. Lowball or walk away IMO.

Fuse keeps blowing? Sounds like bullllllshat.

It's probably got all kinds of problems, just keep looking. I got mine for $1600 with a misfire and semi-blown transmission (auto) but it still ran and drove (and started).

alright yeah i walked away from it. dont need all those problems on my hands with that much money he wants. Thanks everyone
