well my Z won out over the Center Force Dual Friction clutch, I'll take some pic's once I get it out, only been in for a coupla months, and this car gets very little use, primarily just a race car, anyone else had problems with the CFDF? wondering if I should go back with the same, my options are limited without throwing $700 at a clutch and I don't want the Nissan Motorsport solid center race clutch

well I pulled the transmission tonight and...the flywheel is chewed up pretty bad...the clutch disk on the flywheel side (pucked) was shreaded but not into the rivits yet it ate up the flywheel !? and... the pressure plate seems to be ok, but it's covered in friction fibers, and I mean chunks, not sure how well the pic's show up, it looks worse in person

yeah I ran the autocross, but had to baby it off the line to keep from slipping the clutch too much and I couldn't give it full throttle or it would rev to the moon without going anywhere

Good thing you have those mad autotech skillz, which I lack.

I would be hiring someone for a new transmission, if I was in that situation.

Sorry to hear about the Flywheel, salvagable?

Fred..

collins got my parts in today ! but cost a good bit more than courtesy I modified the trans crossmember to fit the KA 5 speed last night, trial fitted everything, dropped off my driveshaft with republic diesel to shorten today, driveshaft should be done friday, all I gotta do is clean everything up and powdercoat the trans case and slap it all in, I won't be able to give it much break in but the way I drive it shouldn't take long to get that sucker bedded in

I'm not to fond of CF clutches. Now ACT, I can tell you they make very good clutches.

well, I reused the CF pressure plate with the NISMO disk, so far so good but the car hardly gets driven except during race season
