i was wondering if anyone has ever thought about trying to replicate the z-tune performance as close as possible. i found quite a few places that sell z-tune internals like the crankshaft, con rods. i want to try and replicate the hp as close as possible to the z-tune. i've done alot of research on this and i know i can use the stock bore size and as far as the turbos go i would have to use some by apexi since they have turbo's made by ihi which is what the z-tune has. any positive input would be appreciated. thanks

I'm pretty sure everyone on here will tell you that its cheaper to do it differently.

I dont know why you're set on Z tune stuff, sounds kind of dumb as you'll be paying for the bling factor, but then again its not very bling, so...

A rebuilt RB26 with forged pistons and maybe rods will last a really long time at 600 whp with supporting mods. Do you know a standard internalled RB26 has hit 950 whp and 1100+ lb ft?

The way I'd do it:Rebuilt RB26Std everything but pistons and hardwareSingle GT35r .82 ar exhaust

That setup will be responsive, 500-600 hp, and hella cheap compared to z tune anything.

400hp is enough to make you sh1t your pants in an S chassis, for the record.
