Does anyone know how heavy the stock 2006 Z rims are? I was wondering because i was thinking about getting some axis ones or some other custom ones but i know that for every 6 ish pounds you loose about 1 HP so i was wondering how much they weigh if anyone knows?

Also does anyone know if theres any other rims that have the built in tire pressure gauge that is compatible with the car or does anyone know if its possible to take the sensor off the stock rims and put them on some custom rims so it still will read your tire pressure?

not sure on the wheel weight, I'm sure each size and style are a little different, but from my experience nissan alumnum wheels are lighter than most aftermarket wheels or equal size, not lighter than all, SSR's and other lightweight racing wheels will almost definitely be lighter

Hey thanks thats great, I didnt think that they would be that light thats actually pretty impressive. But does anyone know about the tire pressure sensor in the rims and if it can be switched to some after market ones or even if any aftermarket ones come with a pressure sensor compatible with a 06 Z?

Look for some G35 coupe or 350Z take offs that are forged. They're made by Rays Engineering and are light weight. The 18" (6 spoke design) ones I had were ~18 each.

Depending on which wheels they are, how many miles are left on the tires, etc - market is somewhere between $600-900 from what I've seen.

my 17x12 CCW's only weigh about 20 lbs each, the CCW's are kinda heavy in the world of lghtweight racing wheels, I think the kodiac's come in more like 18lbs for a 17x12, the 17x9 zigans on my z32 weigh about 19lbs, I consider that to be about average for the size, cheaper wheels tend to be heavier
