Just wondering if anyone has the Technosquare reflash or the Cobb Tuning Access port (shown above) in their car..

And I was wondering since the Cobb wasn't a piggy back type deal would you be able to slut around the actual tuner to other people with 350's and G35's and share it?

it seems so long as the programmer doesnt save itself to your car, for example saving your vin number in its memory. if it did something like that it would only be able to work on your car. it should be able to reprogram other cars so long as they fit the criteria of the information on the device itself. thats what i get from reading that, all i did was read the description, never used it.

the thing is, the cobb access port tuner saves the settings of your car for them to be changed or it to be returned to stock, once you cheat it to another system you'll have to erase what you have... then when you reteach it to your car, it will read how ever its set as stock setting - to my understanding. Now if you want to maybe write down the settings you have, then change it back to stock, then clear the tuner (reset w/e) then tune another persons car, clear the tuner again, return it to yours, and shizaam - reset it the way you had it. Thats the only way i could think of doing it. But then the other person is screwed if they want to return it to stock - to my understanding.

I personally think its a waste of money for the 350Z. Too much spent for not enough gains... Do suspension work instead. Sway bars and all that jack can be had for the price of those tunes/tuners.... Show me 25+ wheel HP and i'll buy one. They just don't do enough for N/A cars. Not for $700. Be worth it if they were half that, maybe.

edit: $700 = ZEX wet nitrous system specifically for the 350Z. 55,75,100 shot all in one package! Now that's roughly 55 wheel HP for $700 = worth it.

Yeah but for like what, 20 seconds?

And you gotta worry about the consequences should something go wrong..
