ok my car is not cranking here is the symptoms. All fuses are fine there was a blown shift fuse but got that replace but has me concerned. The lights all come on but the radio is not working, the clock is not illuminating, when I turn the ignition from alternator to the on position there is whining of the fuel system none of the dash panel lights illumanting. When I turn to start, there is nothing. I also noticed, however I do not think it has anything to do with the situation at hand but the electronic seat is running really sluggish. I have not had the battery tested to see if it is fully charged. I will do that later. Any insight is appreciated.

F/U I changed the battery with a new one but to no avail. The same problems persist. Could it be the ingnition not sending signals to the components that would operated by the switch. The clock is not working, radio do not turn on the lights on the dash panel are coming when I turn it to the on postion and the fuel pmp does not come on and therefore it is not sending a charge to the starter. Could this be right. Please Help.

Had the same problem in my Jimmy a week ago, everything worked until i turned the key to start it. All I did was cleaned and tightened the terminals and all was good. In cold weather a positive connection is very important. Just a thought, im sure you've checked them already tho.
