We recently had a custom contact us about a VQ35 swap in their 240SX S13. They are located in Canada and didn't really want to ship their car to us. We initially did their harness work and ECU tuning. But soon after they contacted us about the possibility of us finding a turbo kit for the VQ35 in their S13. There isn't one readily available so we decided to make one for them. We pulled an S13 shell out of the yard and tossed one of our many VQ35 engines into it. We use Mckinney Motorsports mounts so that part is easy. From there we started by trying to bolt up a Turbonetics 350Z turbo kit from our inventory. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!
So we decided to scrap the whole kit idea and start from scratch. This is what we came up with:
I hope you like it.

It fits nicely under the hood

This is the clearance under the car:

This is the exhaust downpipe, We even made mounting brackets to reduce vibration.

The upper charge pipe has this angle because the customer is running a stock clutch fan

And this is the final fitment prior to taking everything back apart and sending it to the polisher before shipping it to the customer for them to install.

Let me know if we can ever help you with a project.

nothing new is going on at the shop. We have been building trick cars for 23 years now. The only difference is that I have gotten off my lazy duff and started posting them.......
Thanks for noticing our work. That means a lot to me and my guys!
