Well, it's not as trick or pretty as some of these other sweet rides, but it's my baby and my daily driver:

That was just after my first attempt at painting a car. Still needs work but looks better than primer gray. Interior is stock brown color, seats and all. Little by little I fix it as I can afford (man I love Motor Sports Auto!)

I rebuilt the engine myself except for the machine shop stuff (also love Vellio's Machine shop!) so the motor barely has 5K miles on it. The car, about 300K. It loves to get up on the highway and stretch it's legs. I visit my Mom in Cottonwood, AZ at least once a year.

O.K., enough babble. Great site y'all have here! Chris.

Yea (big evil grin) I do...

Im running a 3.1 L that dynos at 289 hp 266 ft lbs torque

The plan was for a totally stock looking Z (sleeper).

with the power needed to play around against those pesky

evo's wrx's si's (insert annoying modern showroom racer name here)

the car's got about 125k orginal miles on it, and the original 2.4L and

4 speed are safely tucked away in the garage in perfect running

condition.

Hey you have an amazing car. I'm just wondering how the fit was for the engine. I'm wanting to do the same thing to my first car a '71 240Z custom converible.

Heres my '78. Is my project car for 09-10

Z32 Leather seats

I have a Washer & Dryer Repair and Rental shop here where I live.

This was the First AND last time I drove the car, the clutch was slipping and the L28 gave very low compression when we made the compression test. Oh! BTW those fugly wheels where FREE so I couldn't say no, at least the have good tires. The big Z on the fender is the logo of the Z car club of Mexicali.

Im planning to swap a RB20, T3/T4 Turbo running on Mega Squirt @ 20 PSI of boost. Currently I'm saving money to rebuild the engine I already have.

Other mods will include 240/260 turn signals and bumpers, R200 LSD from a Z31 with teh driveaxles, poly bushings, lowering springs and MAYBE rear discs conversion.

You wont admire that car if you see the s*^ty quality work under the hood. I have seen it on hybridz and seen many articles about it. It is downright dangerous and should not be allowed on any public road way. The owner admits he did a s*^ty job and he wanted a Integra or a VW any way and he cant wait to get rid of the car.

Looks to me he should of went with the VW.............
