Now I've finally joined the crowd.

I still can't get over how big those rotors are.

i've still got a bit of air in the lines, but it was getting so late, i didn't feel like screwing with it since it was way after dark.

Also, I still have a Z master cylinder to put in tomorrow as well.

they're white. high temp primer, high temp white enamel, and high temp sealer

We'll see how long they stay that way though. I give them a week.

brake dust will settle on the calipers. the high temp sealer is to help keep the dust from sticking to it as bad as it would if it were just straight paint. Also, I noticed that the brake fluid didn't immediately eat away at the sealed paint as it did when it was just straight paint (some bled out before I got a chance to seal it properly.)

Looks good. You can always just take the tire brush to them and clean them often. I need them just can't justify spending that much money on brakes.

i could have knocked about 100 bucks off had i just used the pads and hardware that came with the calipers. and then if the yard had had any rotors for cheap and were usable, i could have chopped another good chunk off of that price. even with turning

it just stands out, especially without a wheel on, how good white calipers look. i never want red calipers, i dunno wut color ill get but i really dont appreciate red as much. im still thinking but ill probably color match like uve done with the white on white, i just have to figure out what color i want my car then save up enough to get it done. brakes will come first though

Pictures of the wheels on. I'm finding that I may need a small spacer because the offset gives less than a millimeter of clearance.

ya that might be a good reason to get spacers.

What kind of wheels are those? (edit: I see the Enkei logo )

I was going to wait to get the Z brakes and new wheels until I had enough to do the 5-lug swap along with it all. What's your opinions on the re-drilled rotors?

welcome to the club...

btw, screw the spacers, if your offset goes off by a mm, then the caliper is the last thing you should worry about.

Did you drill the 4 bolt patern yourself, or did you have someone else do it? I need to get mine drilled for my s13 and I'm scared to do this. Any suggestions anyone, or should I have someone else do it?

17/16th master is waiting to go on. I had a hell of a time getting the plug for the center brake line out, and when we did get it out, it was a damned Tokico replacement part, so it doesn't have the propper fitting. I don't feel like fabbing brake lines, so I'm gonna try and nab a busted up S13 MC and cut the fitting out to use in mine (don't feel like cutting into my working and highly useful MC)

I wish I was cool, but Ryan said I'm not....I'll just go mope in my corner again.

EDIT: The rotors came from Heavy Throttle predrilled to 4 lug. They did a good job on it, and it was only $149 before shipping
