Are Z32 axles inerchangable with S13 axles? I don't think so, but i thought I'd ask anyways

No. First of all, they're 5-bolt. Second, they're a bit too long. Third, the spline that goes through the hub is too thick.

If you want to use z-axles for a 5-bolt vlsd, I was able to modify the z-axles and 240sx axles... http://www.gbauto.net/crzycav86/axle_swap.htm

But if you're in the market for axles, you're better off getting pre -95 j30 axles. They're 5-bolt, and will fit the subframe.

180sx vlsd with 5 bolt flanges and shafts are for sale $350 from Phase2motortrend

These interchange with early J30('93) axles, which interchange with N/A 300zx(TT is bigger) 5 lug hub/bearings.

$350 for used VLSD with proper shafts that bolts right into your car, whether your're 4 or 5 lug, is cheap.

On other forums, the VLSD alone asking price is $350. Of course there's always that rare shop that has various JDM parts kicking around that will unload an entire 180sx rear subframe for $50 if you take it away right now! but that's rare. shoulda played the lotto that day..

No new Nissan parts are cheap. For example, the new J30 shafts I got from Infiniti of Tacoma list at $800+ each

New OEM NA 300zx rear bearings(P/N 43280-AA100) cost twice as much as the same bearing from SKF(GRW309)

I'd rather drop change on a set of new S13 VLSD stubs. I can nab them for around $260. I'm gonna hit th ejunk yards soon to see what I can dig up
