just got my centerforce clutch in today :ylsuper

im going to be replacing the slave cylinder and master cylinder for the clutch, in the manual it says to use some sort of rubber lubricant for the seals in the cylinder, all i have is CV Axel, and lithium based all purpose grease, do those qualify as a "rubber lubricant"? what did you use on it? :help

No, don't use those. What you need is, well, "red rubber grease". It's ugly bright red stuff, usually comes in a small can or tube at Pep Boys/Autozone. Castrol makes a version of red rubber grease.

You CAN use just hydraulic fluid, but that is not recommended as it is sloppy and tends to run off the seals, whereas the grease stays put during assembly.

Edit: clutch looks good, they did include a TO bearing and clutch centering tool also, right?

You are taking it out wrong. Take out the 2 bolts that holt the brakets for the carriers baring middle should fall some. Then take the 4 bolts off that connect it to the rear differental. Then you should pull back and the drive shaft should fall out of the transmission. Nick

Make sure you have ALL the bolts out before trying to pull the transmission out. Also make sure you have the transmission harness and speed sensor unhooked before dropping transmission. Nick

make sure u tighten up the driveshaft bolts properly. over torquing them or tighting them from the front could cause them to get cut. just some helpful hints.
