Hey guys, I own a Nissan sentra 05 1.8S SE. I was wondering whether I can put turbo in my car?? or should I make a motor swap and then put turbo?? or would it be a mistake to put the turbo even in the car? any suggestions would help. (I'm a newbie)

Wow. That's a big leap.Turbos aren't for the feint of heart, wallet, or experience.

Yes, your engine has been turbocharged successfully, but no, it's not common, there are only a few (1 I can think of off the top of my head) that are running right now. The same goes for swapped 00+ 1.8 Sentras, there are only one or two that run.

For the sake of simplicity, start with some milder mods (CAI, exhaust, shortshifter) to get a feel for things, then think about stepping up to big stuff.

Welcome to NICO!

I agree, start off with the smaller mods first and go from there. Intake and exhaust is a good start for the QG18DE. Also welcome to Nico the best Nissan/Infiniti forum period.

Heres a pic of my motor(1.8) w/ the NISMO Cool air intake

I'll have to agree with the guys above as well. Start off small and build up. Turbocharging is certainly where its at, nothing like owning a turbo car But take baby steps. Good luck and post up some pics of your car.
