Hey, just wanted to give everyone a little tip for when posting youtube video's. A little known secret about any newly uploaded (and alot of older ones) is that if you add &fmt=6 to the end of the address, it will result in a higher quality video. e.g.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqd8dLE5e7U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rqd8dLE5e7U&fmt=6

check out the difference for yourself.

this helps alot with exhaust vids cause you dont get so much distortion in the sound.

Right, but not everyone has an account at youtube that looks at youtube videos. By adding the &fmt=6 you can force the video to be high quality. And if you add it to the link you post, everyone gets it no matter what.

that's because it's the actual mp4 file that people upload and not the flv file that youtube converted. If you use http://keepvid.com/ to dl youtube files it gives you 2 options to dl the flv or the high res mpg
