Hello,

As many of you may know, I lost my Audi last month (which, I have still not replaced yet) Now, due to a streak of extreme bad luck on my wife's part, my 2003 M45 is now gone. Long story short, she hit something in the road at 45ish mph at night with VDC off, lost control and sent the car over a curb into a parking lot. All 4 tires were blown, and all 4 rims were wrecked. I put the set of after market wheels I had for Winter time on it the next day and drove it to get an alignment - then discovered it had some frame damage. Well, add OEM rims, tires, frame work, etc and my insurance company decided it was a total loss.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know the VIN: JNKAY41E23M001418 in case the car is ever sold, fixed, and you know someone who see's a real good deal on a black on black '03 with every option with 84,xxx miles, it should have a salvage title (even though the car physically looks awesome).

I have always loved this forum, have learned a lot, and the entire NICO community is awesome! I will continue to read as I am interested in owning a newer AWD M35/45 someday.

As for now (since I was down to ZERO vehicles, and really needed to get some wheels) I picked up a silver Dodge Ram Quad Cab Hemi 4x4. I have driven sedans all my life, and have always wondered what it would be like to have a pickup truck. I won't have to worry about the snow anymore, however, being used to having several cars with a really nice interior, it is somewhat of a culture shock to drive something that is so basic. Oh well, not sure how long I will keep it, who knows, maybe it will be nice to have a truck and a car eventually...if my friends and family don't bother me too much to help them move stuff

Does your wife hate you? Some sort of passive aggressive behavior to you? Do you wake up with bruises and don't know where they came from? (please see the humor in this as I am completely joking)

Sorry for your lossES, and glad she is ok.

LOL...yes, I definitely see the humor. That is about all I can do anyway is try to see some humor in the whole situation, otherwise I will go crazy.

I appreciate everyone's responses, I'm just sad that I cannot look out my window and see my rare '03 anymore while I read my favorite forum.

I still read and keep up everyday with this forum, but I feel like the only one in here that now drives a pick-up truck hiding behind the couch...lol

Uh ... did I miss something? Or is it just my old age memory going out?

Hope it was not an accident. Or that you are okay from whatever might have happened.

Sorry to hear this man. Glad everyone walked way without a scratch!Hey, a truck isn't so bad. They may not have a lot of features (actually some of the newer have quite a few), but you may just enjoy the change for a while. At least you wont have to worry about what you run over anymore. Plus a truck is very universal, yeah....don't be shocked to notice you become more popular.....trucks=moving device! LOl...oh well.Maybe even look at the newer G sedans. They have become very nice looking here lately! If, not a M is still a great choice!Hope to see you back soon!

Sorry for the slow response...I still keep up with this forum, but only a few times a week. Enjoy the good reading and the people!

I guess I wasn't much of a truck guy afterall...I traded it last month. It was fun while it lasted, but the weekly trips to the gas station did not justify a 1 person commuter for me. Currently, I drive a Volvo S60 and a Jaguar X-Type. Can't say too much about them, they do not compare to the Infiniti, but I guess I am just on a quest to "try" every brand out there to culture myself. If I hadn't, then I would have never had the enjoyment of owning an Infiniti M45, so it all worked out.

Thanks again for your reply, and I'm looking forward to seeing pics of Mr. Marks next project
