That was the configuration suggested to me at the shop.Sammich wrote:The 35% is good and you retain visibility. I have 20% on the back windows and 35% on the fronts. It works well for the Texas heat during the summer with the darker tint.
So....what gang are you with?cmoody2006 wrote:I don't have a versa but I went with 2% in the back and 5% in the front looks awesome!
The Stevie Wonder gang I am guessing.marleyfan wrote:

It is the percent of light which passes through the tint. The lower the percent the darker the tint.Lanthom wrote:I'm looking at finally tenting my window but I'm totally clueless on this one. TN state law says the most I can go is 35% all around.
The one thing I'm confused on is what the % means? Any help?
NO you do NOT need to take the windows off to tint them.....Heavy_D wrote:hey i was wondering has any one ever taking off any of the windows to tint it? i dont own one but i have done other cars and some cars are really hard to take the window off, and some cars are really fast and easy, the car that im going to tint is some girl that i work with, and i dont want to mess up her car either, i also did people cars but i just want to ask you guys b4 i do anything.
i wanted to know if it is easy to take off, i dont like to leave the window one to tint it, thats rice, i like the whole window out and then tint it, its more easier to do your tints, and it will come out better. thats how i like to do it, and thats how the girl that wants me to do it, i even did it on my own car which is a toyota that is real simple, but i know some cars are not easy to take off.bulld0g wrote:NO you do NOT need to take the windows off to tint them.....
because, when you roll down the window, you can see that big gap and i dont like that, and then sometimes it dont even stick. so now all im asking again for the third time is there a way to take the window out, just a yes or a no, easy or hard thats it.blind_snyper wrote:how is it "rice" if you dont take the windows off
My guess is that no one here has had a need to remove a window on the Versa. The Versa seems to be the same as most vehicles according to the repair manual. You can download the factory manual and see the steps for yourself under GW for Glass & Windows. Good luck and let us know how it goes.Heavy_D wrote:
