Well, you all will prob. haze me but here goes

#1. OF COURSE ANY 240SX "THEY ARE MECHANICLY SOUND, PERIOD"#2. Honda Prelude "For the same reason"#3. Fox style 5.0 "Motor is indestructible, so is transmission"#4. Integra "Not high maintnance"#5. Turbo Mr2

Reasons why I didn't pick the mk111 "head gasket problems, so I have been told at least" and the rx-7, don't trust rotary motors, o-rings are very weak from what I have read.

The cars I picked are very LOW maintanced "sp" cars if you don't drive the s*** outta them. The other cars are usually high maintnance. If you are asking below 7500, I figure you can't afford all the maintnance.

Same universe where a stock 240 with all that audio equipment is "fast". See Nebraska's early posts...:rolleyes

My list:

2nd-gen MR2 Turbo (more bang for the buck)Dodge Shelby GLHS (drive one and you'll understand)old school Starion (one word - COOL)1988 5.0 LX (basic, fast, cheap, prefer the convertible)95 Civic Si (already had one, miss it sometimes)

I'm not a big fan of $7,500 Nissans (except maybe an old Z), and I already have a near-perfect Q45, so a $7,500 Infiniti (spelled with an "I", not a "y") would just be a waste of garage space (and a money pit).

DSM, I love the 510 idea (wish I'd thought of that one) but wassup with the 78 'stank and the 78 camaro? Are you feeling OK?

you can get a 944 turbo and a ZR1 vette here for aroung 7000, but they are all high mile cars. same with 300 zx tt's there are 2 of them for sale now, one is a turbo and one is not both for 6500, and they old supras, are rare around here, but i would assume like an 86 supra would go for around that, and I got my 240 here for 3500

And one all the strero Equipment in my car, I am going to build my 240 as a show car, and clean up my KA and later down the orad, way down the road, get either a SR, VG, or RB to swap into it later in life when I can afford it, but till then I like what I am doing to my car, and as long as i'm not ricing it out, who should car about what i put it?

c'mon now ppls......do u really think a Honduh Sheevic really counts as a sports car?

sure its got 2 doors, or its a "sport compact," but does it give u that snug feeling. That feelin that ur in complete control of the car, the cockpit feel?

My 94 Si did - That car was eminently "tossable" - some of the best seats I've ever sat in. Too bad Honduh didn't stay with that platform - The Civic just got bigger, fatter, and slower.
